Terrestrial Biological Surveys

We have extensive experience in terrestrial biological surveys throughout Western Australia. We can assist clients with:

  • Flora and vegetation surveys, including preliminary reconnaissance surveys through to specialist targeted surveys for threatened flora and threatened ecological communities, and multi season detailed surveys.
  • Conducting and coordinating field surveys and review of technical survey reports to support EIA, and environmental approvals.
  • Groundwater dependent ecosystem identification and assessment, eco-physiological assessments of phreatophytic vegetation, monitoring and management plan preparation and implementation.
  • Wetland mapping, classification and assessment.

Environmental Impact Assessment, Management and Monitoring Programs and Environmental Approvals

Our teams extensive experience in consulting to industry and in government agencies, mean that we have a thorough understanding of State and Federal environmental legislation, processes and policy and practical experience in environmental approvals pathways. We can assist clients with their environmental impact assessment, environmental approvals and ongoing environmental monitoring and management. Our services include:

  • Scoping environmental approval requirements and strategic assessment of approach to environmental approvals.
  • Liaison with relevant State and Federal agencies.
  • Preparation of environmental approval documentation and coordination of environmental approvals through State and Federal legislated approval processes.
